Job summary

CORA ENVIRONMENT PTE. LTD. at Bedok Depot is seeking a hands-on Waste Collection Assistant to support daily collection and disposal of waste and recyclables from municipal, industrial, and commercial sites, while upholding safety and cleanliness in line with company procedures.

You will assist in guiding drivers, handling containers, and performing routine vehicle and site cleanup tasks. The role requires physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors, with a 6-day workweek and daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit for outdoor/manual tasks.
• Willingness to work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Collect waste materials and recyclables from municipal, industrial, and commercial premises.
• Guide the vehicle driver safely during collection activities, including vehicle reversing.
• Assist in disposing waste and recyclables at authorized facilities such as material recovery and C&D plants.
• Clean and reinstate work areas by managing spillages of refuse and oil and addressing overflowing refuse.
• Handle equipment and receptacles properly to maintain operational safety and efficiency.
• Clean and wash collection vehicles daily to maintain hygiene standards.
• Perform all collection tasks following company Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety.
• Comply with workplace safety and health requirements by wearing proper PPE and safety boots.
