Job summary

WuXi Biologics is seeking an experienced OT Network Infrastructure Engineer to support the Singapore site and overseas manufacturing locations. You will design, deploy, and integrate OT infrastructure using Nutanix, VMware, and Hyper‑V, manage backups, time synchronization, and remote access, and collaborate on ELV system deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• 5-8 years of experience in network infrastructure project implementation or manufacturing site operations.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies including Nutanix, VMware and Hyper-V.
• Strong network architecture and engineering capabilities including TCP/IP, routing & switching, firewalls, info security and AD domain integration.
• Experience in backup systems.
• Experience in biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry infrastructure delivery and operation.
• Ability to prepare technical documentation including design documents, test documents, SOPs and policy/guideline documents.
• Familiarity with CSV and understanding of cGMP for biopharma manufacturing and automation.
• Understanding of information security frameworks and common security controls.
• Knowledge of DCS/PLC and data historians like OSI PI and InfluxDB is preferred.
• Fast learner with ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks with strong communication.

Department : Global Automation Integration Services

Responsibilities :

• Support the delivery of OT network infrastructure for the Singapore site and other overseas manufacturing sites. Collaborate with project managers and other project engineers, follow project plans and management requirements, and report progress to the project team.
• Be responsible for the design, implementation and integration of OT infrastructure, including Nutanix and VMware virtualization platforms, backup systems, and automation infrastructure support tools such as time synchronization, email relay, file synchronization, remote access, logging tools and ThinManager. Manage vendor activities and ensure high-quality acceptance of related equipment and services.
• Participate in data center construction and ELV (extra-low-voltage) system deployment and operation. Interface with AIS and design teams, define requirements, participate in acceptance and qualification activities, and ensure that OT infrastructure meets implementation and validation prerequisites.
• Be responsible for qualification and validation of OT infrastructure. Work with the validation team to complete quality qualification and release activities, including URS preparation, design/configuration input, validation test protocol input, validation test execution, document approval clarification and follow-up. Support preparation of operation and maintenance SOPs.
• Support network integration of manufacturing and automation systems, including network connectivity, domain account management, time synchronization, data backup and other computerized services, as well as related testing and validation.
• Collaborate with the information security team to ensure that infrastructure design and implementation comply with information security requirements.
• Establish and implement continuous operational optimization for OT infrastructure, including computer and account management, automation integration, service optimization, data collection and backup, and security auditing.
• Provide technical training to Manufacturing, Quality and site Engineering teams to improve team members' OT network system operation skills.

Requirement :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Automation, Information Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5 - 8 years of experience in network infrastructure project implementation or manufacturing site operations, with the ability to work independently.
• Extensive hands-on experience with virtualization technologies, including Nutanix, VMware and Hyper-V.
• Strong network architecture and engineering capabilities, including TCP/IP, routing and switching, firewalls, information security and Active Directory domain integration. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Server platforms and familiarity with ELV systems.
• Experience in the implementation or operation and maintenance of backup systems.
• Strong infrastructure engineering capabilities, with experience in systematic infrastructure design, delivery, and operation and maintenance in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
• Ability to prepare technical documentation, including design documents, test documents, SOPs and policy/guideline documents.
• Familiarity with computerized system validation (CSV) and understanding of cGMP requirements, particularly for biopharmaceutical manufacturing and automation systems.
• Understanding of information security frameworks and common security controls.
• Knowledge of manufacturing control systems such as DCS and PLC, and real-time/historian database systems such as OSI PI and InfluxDB, is preferred.
• Fast learner with the ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks in a project environment, and demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills.
