Job summary

Google's Data Center Engineering team seeks a Senior OT Cybersecurity Engineer to design and deploy secure OT solutions across hyperscale facilities. You will drive end-to-end cybersecurity design for industrial control systems, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and advance secure by design principles in state-of-the-art data centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of experience in industrial control system architecture and standard protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus).
• 5 years of experience in industrial control system hardware (PLCs, relays, IEDs) and IT security integration.
• 5 years of experience in generating technical product specifications, schematics, and system architecture drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop scope and technical requirements for OT cybersecurity solutions across end-to-end design and testing.
• Perform technical reviews of control system infrastructure with embedded cybersecurity requirements.
• Serve as technical liaison across cross-functional teams to resolve design and deployment challenges.
• Execute design sustaining and lifecycle management for cybersecurity and OT components.
• Identify opportunities for security maturation across OT environments to reduce risk.
