Job summary

The Singapore General Hospital Pte Ltd is seeking an Orthopaedic Technician to support plaster room operations across clinics, wards and the operating theatre. You will assist in plaster casting, manage stock of orthopaedic equipment, and ensure documentation and workflow are kept orderly.

Fresh graduates are welcome; prior relevant experience is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with colleagues and peers are required to succeed in a busy hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Higher NITEC, NITEC, GCE O or N Level.
• Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Prior experience in relevant field will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist plaster casts in clinics, wards and operating theatre.

The Orthopaedic Technician will perform (but not limited to) the following responsibilities:

• Assist in the practical application of all plaster casts of the orthopaedic clinics, wards and operating theatre
• Collect and dispatch specimens to the laboratories for analysis whenever necessary
• Monitor and control adequate stock counts of all orthopaedic equipment and supplies
• Ensure that plaster room is kept neat and tidy and equipment are ready for use at all times.
