FLOWTEK ENGINEERING is seeking a responsible Orbital Welder to design, cut, and permanently join stainless steel tubing using orbital welding techniques on projects in Singapore. You will weld with an orbital machine, assist in site installation, and support NDT, hydrostatic and tolerance tests to ensure weld quality and conformity to specifications.

The role requires basic TIG welding skills, orbital welding capability, and the ability to read technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of welding experience in related field.
• Able to read technical drawings.
• Orbital Welding certificate would be an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Weld stainless steel tubing using orbital welding machine.
• Assist fix up and site installation.
• Assist in NDT process, hydrostatic and tolerance tests to verify weld quality.
• Maintain good housekeeping at workplace at all times.
• Perform other duties as required by your superior.
• Able to perform welding operations under extreme conditions.

We are looking for a responsible Orbital Welder for designing, cutting, and permanently joining stainless steel tube together through the application of appropriate welding techniques.

• Welding stainless steel tubing and associated components using orbital welding machine.
• Assists fix up and site installation.
• Assist in NDT process, hydrostatic and tolerance tests on welded parts to verify weld quality and conformance to specification.
• Maintain of good housekeeping at workplace all the time.
• Perform other duties as and when required by your superior.
• Able to perform welding operation under extreme conditions such as inclement weather and limited workspace.

Technical skills

• Basic TIG welding skill
• Orbital welding skill
• Able to read technical drawings.
• At least 2-3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position

Soft skills

• Possess a good work attitude and must be meticulous organized reliable and able to handle work pressure well.
• Basic oral and written communication skills

Education Level

• Minimum holding a Sec 3 education.
• BCSS / CSOC
• Orbital Welding certificate would be an advantage.

BUT those do not have the mentioned certificates, you can still apply based on past similar working experiences. Company will send you to these welding courses when necessary.
