Job summary

STAFFKING PTE. LTD. is seeking an optician to conduct refraction tests and provide professional eye care at islandwide Singapore locations. You will dispense eyewear, fit frames, and advise on vision solutions based on prescriptions.

PV Opticians and PV Optometrists are welcome; strong customer service and communication skills are essential, with weekend/public holiday shifts expected.

Qualifications

• Valid OOB License in Singapore.
• PV Opticians and PV Optometrists welcome.
• Minimum NITEC in Opticianry, Diploma/ Degree in Optometry or equivalent.
• Experience in contact lens fitting and aftercare advantageous.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work retail shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct refraction tests and provide professional eye care services.
• Recommend suitable lenses, coatings, frames, and vision solutions based on prescriptions.
• Perform dispensing and fitting of eyewear products.
• Provide contact lens fitting, dispensing, aftercare advice, and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate records of customer prescriptions, work orders, and payments.
• Deliver excellent customer service and professional product recommendations.
• Support daily retail store operations, merchandising, and inventory activities.
• Ensure compliance with professional standards and company procedures.
