Job summary

ARTGRI GROUP INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an Optician in our retail store to perform eye examinations, prescribe lenses and recommend eyewear with professional and ethical standards.

You will welcome customers and ensure their expectations are exceeded throughout the visit. Responsibilities include comprehensive eye examinations, giving professional advice, recommending optical aids, and delivering excellent customer service with a high degree of professionalism.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the Optometrists & Opticians Board (OOB).
• 2–3 years of experience in optical retail industry.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Sales and target-driven mindset.
• Passionate, friendly and cheerful disposition.
• Proactive and responsible.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to commit to retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye and vision examinations.
• Provide professional advice and solutions to customers.
• Recommend appropriate optical aids based on eye examination.
• Deliver excellent customer service with professionalism.
• Drive and meet weekly and monthly sales targets.
• Handle day-to-day store operations and admin duties.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job description

As an Optician in our retail store, you will work as part of a team delivering total satisfaction to our customers through conducting thorough eye examinations and lens prescription. You'll offer our customers recommendations to the highest professional and ethical standards. You will use your knowledge to effectively identify customer needs and recommend eyewear accordingly. In addition, you will act as an ambassador for the Company ensuring every customer is welcomed into the store and to ensure their expectations are exceeded throughout the customer experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performing comprehensive eye and vision examination
• Provide professional advice and solution to customers
• Recommendation of appropriate optical aids based on eye examination
• Deliver excellent customer service and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism
• Drive and meet weekly and monthly sales targets
• Perform day to day store operations and administrative duties
• Any other ad hoc duties assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Fully registered with Optometrists & Opticians Board (OOB)
• 2-3 years working experience in optical industry
