Job summary

Lumilens PTE. LTD. in Singapore is recruiting an Optical Product Test Engineer to lead validation and quality assurance of photonics components, modules, and systems.

You will blend hands-on production testing with test development and reporting for both NPI and volume manufacturing. The role collaborates with optical design, hardware, and manufacturing teams to calibrate, characterize, and troubleshoot next‑generation photonics technologies powering AI and HPC infra.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Engineering, Physics, Optics, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of industry experience in optical or fiber component testing preferred.
• Prior exposure to photonics, telecom, or high-speed networking systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform characterization and testing of fiber optic components and modules.
• Analyze test results to ensure performance and quality standards.
• Maintain detailed records of test procedures and outcomes.
• Generate comprehensive test reports for stakeholders.
• Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for product issues.
• Design, plan, and conduct optical and fiber testing on components and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support NPI and ramp.
