Job summary

Exyte GmbH is seeking an on-site Gas Distribution Operations Specialist to ensure continuous supply and oversee the gas distribution network, including CDA, bulk gas systems, purifiers, and LPG. The role involves monitoring operations, maintenance support, and strict adherence to safety and KPI guidelines.

Responsibilities include handling gas deliveries, system hook-ups, Dewar refilling, stock management, and daily logging.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous supply of gas distribution systems (CDA, bulk gas, purifiers, LPG).
• Monitor all operations of Gas Distribution systems.
• Support maintenance activities.
• Comply with company rules, safety guidelines, and KPI requirements.
• Safely handle loading/unloading of gas deliveries from external warehouses.
• Hook up and unhook specialty gases and bulk HCI systems.
• Dewar refilling for FA-LAB.
• Assist and execute gas charge-in for gas cabinets, valve manifolds, and panels.
• Ensure onsite gas stock and update cylinder status in Excel.
• Perform GI daily for Bulk HCL system.
• Maintain housekeeping in gas, CDA, purifier, and TGM control rooms.
• Assist ERT during gas leaks or chemical spills when requested.
• Ensure rounds and readings cover all areas under operations.
• Serve as backup for TCM drum hookup (buddy system) if needed.
• Maintain day-to-day operations to run smoothly.
• Update daily logistics routine via Daily Log to the Logistic Coordinator.
• Inform and report any system shutdowns or failures to the Operation Engineer and Logistic Coordinator.
• Issue non-conformity reports (NCR) within 24 hours.
• Ensure 5S and housekeeping on-site during work hours.
• Maintain an injury-free environment with zero accidents, incidents and environmental incidents on site.
• Meet KPIs and provide admin/personal services to satisfy customers and comply with legislation.
• Update reports, checklists and inventory for records.
• Update monthly Zero Excursion program provided by IFKM.

Job description

Job Duties:

1. Ensuring all gas distribution systems including CDA, bulk gas systems, purifiers and LPG are on continuously supply.
2. Monitoring all operation for Gas Distribution systems.
3. Support maintenances activities.
4. Complying with all company rules and regulations including all safety guidelines as well as customer’s regulations as per Key Performance Indicator stated.
5. Safe handling of loading and unloading activities of gas deliveries from external warehouse.
6. Hook-up and Un-hook Specialty Gases AND Bulk HCI system.
7. Dewar re-filling for FA-LAB.
8. Assisting and executing gas charge-in activities for all related Gas Cabinets, Valve Manifold Boxes and Panels.
9. Ensuring sufficient onsite stock for all online Gases and updated cylinder status in excel.
10. Perform GI on daily basis for Bulk HCL system.
11. Maintaining good housekeeping at Gas room, CDA room, purifier room and TGM control room.
12. Assisting customer’s Emergency Response Team (ERT) during any gas leakage and chemical spillage upon request.
13. Ensure Round and Reading done according all area cover by operation.
14. A backup for TCM drum hookup operation (buddy system) if needed.
15. Maintaining day to day operation to run smoothly.
16. To update daily Logistic routine activity via Daily Log to Logistic Coordinator.
17. To inform and report any system shut down, system failure and abnormalities to Operation Engineer and Logistic Coordinator.
18. To issue Non-conformity report (NCR) for any abnormalities found within 24hrs.
19. To ensure 5S and housekeeping is well maintained on-site during working hour.
20. Ensure that injury free environment by maintaining zero accident, zero incidents and zero environment accident during on-site activity.
21. To fulfill customer’s need and satisfaction through Key Performance Indicator program, administrative and personal services in order to meet legislative requirement and provide support to operations.
22. Ensure all reports, checklist and inventory updated accordingly foe records purposes.
23. To update monthly Zero Excursion programmed provide by IFKM.
