Job Summary

Perform a variety of duties in the qualify, ECMark, Dot Peen, Shot Peen, Pin Stake, Tacking/Powder, Braze Visual and de-burring aircraft engine parts IAW technical documents. This position requires previous experience, initiative and ingenuity and the ability to work independently to produce the highest level of quality and productivity against established standards. Occasionally require to work constructively with Engineering in developing new products. Participate in Lean/Kaizen/CI meetings and make effective recommendations toward improvements in processes and overall productivity.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to all work instructions associated with the work you are performing.
• Comply with all company and safety rules and regulations during course of duties. ( Proper PPE )
• Perform jobs in priority order unless instructed otherwise.
• Perform and complete the operation you are performing IAW the required technical data referred to in your job traveler. (operation sheets, written instructions from engineering)
• Occasionally require to assist engineering with new part development.
• Provide trainings to others when require/necessary
• Report nonconformances related to parts, paper work, tooling or materials to the immediate Cell Leader.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices on machines and in work area

Requirements:

• 0 - 3 years of similar duties in the aerospace environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical document
• Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, good communications skills
• Skilled in the use of micrometers, calipers, verniers, gauge blocks, radius gauges, gauge pins and visual aids.
• Basic shop math, read, write, and interpret English, effectively utilize lifting devices, ability to interpret travelers and work instructions, ability to verify log and procedures for accuracy
