Job summary

INTUIT RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is assisting an engineering client in Woodlands to recruit an Operations Technician on a permanent, full-time basis.

The role features 5 days a week, 8:30am–5:30pm, with a focus on operating equipment, inspecting precision parts, and maintaining inventory records. Candidates should have a NITEC in a related field and at least 1 year of experience in manufacturing or cleanroom environments, with basic Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or

Qualifications

• NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related discipline is required.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Experience handling precision or high-value components with care.

Responsibilities

• Operate specialised equipment and perform cleaning, inspection, and handling of precision components following procedures.
• Receive, inspect, verify, and organise incoming materials and inventory.
• Prepare, issue, and track components required for operational activities.
• Coordinate outbound shipments for external servicing or repairs and monitor turnaround status.
• Update inventory records and maintain accurate documentation within ERP or inventory management systems.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and proper traceability of materials throughout the process.
• Comply with workplace safety procedures, PPE requirements, and chemical cleaning systems.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant working environment.

Salary Package: Basic + Allowances

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate specialised equipment and perform cleaning, inspection, and handling of precision components in accordance with established procedures.
• Receive, inspect, verify, and organise incoming materials and inventory.
• Prepare, issue, and track components required for operational activities.
• Coordinate outbound shipments for external servicing or repairs and monitor turnaround status.
• Update inventory records and maintain accurate documentation within ERP or inventory management systems.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and proper traceability of materials throughout the operational process.
• Comply with workplace safety procedures, operational guidelines, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.

Job Requirements:

• At least NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, cleanroom, precision engineering, or industrial operations environment.
• Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience handling precision or high-value components with care and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with chemical cleaning systems and wearing the required protective equipment.
