Job summary

YHI Corporation (Singapore) Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a seasoned supervisor to oversee servicing, maintenance, and repair activities, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• NTC 2/3 or Nitec/Higher Nitec in Mechanical/Electronic/Electrical.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, with 2 years in supervisory role.
• Customer oriented with good organizing and time management skills.
• Good communication, leadership, coaching & problem solving skills.
• Possess initiative

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate servicing, maintenance, and repair activities, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Assist the HOD in manpower planning and daily operations.
• Lead daily toolbox/pre-operation meetings and ensure compliance with safety procedures, Risk Assessments (RA), and Safe Work Procedures (SWP).
• Train, mentor, and develop technicians, providing on-the-job technical guidance.
• Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for product testing and servicing.
• Conduct outdoor installation, servicing, and repair work when required.
• Inspect customer-returned products for warranty claims and provide technical support to the Sales team.
• Perform routine safety inspections and report new workplace hazards.
• Identify operational improvement opportunities and implement productivity, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives (5S & Kaizen).
• Resolve customer service and maintenance issues, complete related administrative work, and perform other duties assigned by the superior.
