Job summary

Argyll Scott Singapore is seeking Operations Migration & Cutover Analysts to support operational readiness across insurance operations. • Experience in operations change and migration readiness within financial services.
• Ability to validate end-to-end business journeys across multi-system workflows.

• Ability to collaborate with Operations, Technology and other stakeholders.

Overview

Our client is a leading financial services organisationlooking for Operations Migration & Cutover Analysts to support operational readiness across insurance operations. The roles will sit between business Operations, Technology and other delivery teams, helping ensure impacted processes, systems and support arrangements are adequately tested and ready for migration and day-one operations. Depending on the assigned workstream, the position may focus more heavily on business UAT and operational journey validation, or on broader migration readiness, cutover planning and transition into BAU.

Key Responsibilities

• Support operational readiness activities across business migration and cutover workstreams.
• Coordinate business testing and readiness activities, ensuring appropriate evidence, checkpoints and sign-offs are maintained.
• Develop and manage test scenarios, execution plans and supporting documentation where required.
• Coordinate defect logging, prioritisation, retesting and closure with Technology and relevant business stakeholders.
• Assess migration impacts across operational processes, handoffs, controls, service levels and dependencies, and support appropriate mitigation actions.
• Maintain delivery plans, RAID items, dependencies, readiness criteria and stakeholder reporting.
• Support cutover and go-live readiness, including appropriate entry/exit criteria, business sign-off and post-migration support preparation.

Depending on the assigned workstream, responsibilities may also include:

• Validating end-to-end New Business and Underwriting operational journeys across multiple integrated systems.
• Defining migration scope, success criteria and operational cutover requirements.
• Testing shared mailboxes and collaboration tools, including access, permissions, data integrity and functional user journeys.
• Coordinating end-user computing and telephony readiness for day-one operations.
• Reviewing SOPs, runbooks, controls, handovers and BAU support arrangements.
• Supporting offshore transition, training coordination and hypercare planning.

Job Requirements

Essential

• Strong experience in operations change, migration readiness and/or business testing within financial services.
• Experience working across multi-system, integrated operational workflows and validating end-to-end business journeys and controls.
• Strong delivery discipline across areas such as plans, dependencies, RAID management, testing/readiness evidence, sign-offs and stakeholder reporting.
• Ability to work effectively across Operations, Technology and other internal or external stakeholders.
• Strong documentation skills with the ability to maintain clear and auditable testing, readiness and cutover records.
• Strong attention to detail, risk awareness and the ability to escalate issues with appropriate impact assessment and mitigation.

Depending on the workstream, relevant experience may include

• Business UAT, test scenario creation and defect management within insurance operations.
• New Business, Underwriting, Policy Servicing or Payments operations.
• Operational migration and cutover planning.
• Collaboration-tool, end-user computing or telephony readiness.
• SOP/runbook preparation, BAU transition or offshore operational readiness.
