Stolt Tank Containers, part of Stolt-Nielsen, is hiring a Depot Operations Manager for Jurong Island, Singapore. You will oversee depot operations including storage, cleaning, repairs, surveys and heating activities, ensuring safety, compliance and customer satisfaction.

You will coordinate licensing, permits and cost approvals for hazardous materials handling, working closely with internal teams and external parties to meet regulatory requirements.

Formación

• Diploma, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience with KPI performance management.
• Experience with Workplace Safety & Health in process plants.
• Hazardous Substances License required (Import, Store and Sell).
• Certifications: Manhole Entry, Work At Height, Confined Space Assessors.
• Willing to work on Jurong Island (company transport provided).

Responsabilidades

• Oversee depot operations at Jurong Island ensuring safety, regulatory compliance and meeting company and customer requirements.
• Coordinate storage, cleaning, in-service, repairs, surveys, heating, permits and licensing for hazardous substances.
• Work with operations teams and external parties to ensure compliance and effective cost approvals.
• Monitor and enforce OHSE requirements and support incident response and safety drills.

Join us as a Depot Operations Manager.

As the Depot Operations Manager, you will oversee safe and compliant depot operations across storage, cleaning, repair, survey and heating activities, ensuring they meet company, regulatory and customer requirements.

What You Will Be Doing

You will manage and support depot operations at Jurong Island, ensuring all activities, facilities, equipment and tools operate in compliance with safety, OHSE and regulatory standards, while meeting Stolt Tank Containers’ and customers’ technical and quality requirements. Working closely with operations teams and external parties, you will oversee activities such as storage, cleaning, in‑service work, repairs, surveys, heating, permit approvals and emergency response, while also coordinating licensing, permits and cost approvals for hazardous substances handling and special cargo preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all ops activities, facilities and equipment / tools in SCTPL are operating in compliance to all safety and government regulations and adhering to company policy and OHSE management requirement. This includes attending safety meeting, conducting safety briefing, preparing Safe Work Procedures, fulfilling OHSE management requirement and renewing Hazardous Substances License and other permits timely.
• Technical support and manage all ops activities from Storage, Cleaning/In‑Service, Repair, Survey and Heating to meet STC and customer’s requirements, ACC standard and regulatory.
• To approve Confined Space Entry Permit; Hot Work Permit; Work At Height Permit Assessments.
• New cargo handling ops, cost, approval and training.
• Conduct survey on all 3rd party in accordance to relevant ACC standard to assess accurate repair costs and monitor repair progress. This includes all on-hire and off-hire tanks following the existing agreement made and joint survey.
• Handle STC and customer emergency response in Singapore.
• Handle AP’s cleaning & special preparation cost approval and system updating.
• Manage and apply depot related handling license such as Hazardous Substances License.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in related field
• Experienced performance management in managing KPIs
• Experience with Work Place Safety & Health in process plant
• Import, Store and Sell Hazardous Substances License
• Certificate for Manhole Entry, Work At Height Assessor, and Confined Space Assessor
• Willing to working in Jurong Island (Company transport is provided at designated pickup point)
