Depot Tank Coordinator
We are currently recruiting for a Depot Tank Coordinator to join our Operations team. The role involves managing the storage and distribution of bulk liquids across our state‑of‑the‑art tank containers and terminals.
Stolt Tank Containers (STC) is a leading provider of door‑to‑door transportation services for bulk‑liquid chemicals and food‑grade products, with a fleet of more than 45,000 tank containers and a worldwide network of 22 depots.
Key Responsibilities
- Update the Senior Ops Coordinator on tank status at least twice daily (by 08:15 for previous day activities and by 12:00 for morning completed activities) and provide additional updates to the Operations Coordinator in Conterm and Customer SAP with TLS tagging.
- Carry out immediate tank exterior surveys and submit Equipment Inspection Reports in the absence of an EIR surveyor for incoming and outgoing tanks; report major damages promptly to the Operations Coordinator and Manager.
- Channel tank information (specification, condition, status, movement and customer requirements) clearly and timely to the Senior Ops Coordinator, supervisors and independent surveyors.
- Assist the Senior Ops Coordinator in overseeing correct flow of tank activities at the depot and inform the coordinator when bunching occurs.
- Report to the Depot Manager any improper procedures or arrangements for investigation and corrective action.
Backup Responsibilities – Customer Plant
- Assist operation supervisors in scheduling daily outbound and inbound tanks.
- Coordinate daily export and IDP tanks and facilitate efficient empty tank return to the depot for utilization.
- Prepare daily Transhipment Orders and discharge VDO reports.
- Update SAP daily with TLS and card tagging.
- Prepare weekly report.
Backup Responsibilities – Depot Laden Tanks
- Update and maintain Customer SAP for GR/GI tank movements.
- Update Conterm for tank movement status.
- Prepare laden tank EIR documents, B/L, Cofa and other required documents.
- Obtain and update SES numbers for all Infineum invoices from the SAP system.
- Report any improper procedures or arrangements to the Depot Manager.
- Scan and file documents.
- Serve as backup for the Operations Coordinator.
- Assist the Admin Manager with other administrative office work.
Qualifications
- Nightc (Nitec) in Business Administration or related discipline, or GCE ‘O’ Level with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Preferably 2 years of experience in operations and administration work.
- Ability to liaise with customers and truckers.
- Preferably knowledgeable about SAP.
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Willing to work in Jurong Island (company transport provided at designated pickup point).
