Job summary

GOLDEN BREWERY PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimize manufacturing plant operations, drive efficiency, quality, and safety. You will coordinate across procurement, warehousing, maintenance, engineering, and sales to ensure timely production and delivery.

Your role focuses on continuous improvement, cost control, and data-driven decision making, with accountability for budgets, KPIs, and regulatory compliance across ISO, GMP, and HACCP standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering/management field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive operational management experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate operations across procurement, warehousing, maintenance, engineering, and sales for seamless workflow.
• Monitor machine performance and schedule preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S or Kaizen to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Oversee QA protocols and troubleshoot production issues to maintain product quality.
• Ensure documentation, production logging, and compliance with ISO, GMP, HACCP guidelines.
• Develop and manage operational budgets, monitor expenditures, and control costs.
• Track inventory, usage, and supply chain metrics to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Prepare and present KPI reports and production updates to senior management.
• Lead and mentor production supervisors and engineers to foster high performance.
• Enforce Workplace Safety and Health regulations through audits and safety initiatives.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimize manufacturing plant operations, ensuring production efficiency, quality compliance, and safety standards while driving continuous improvement and cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage daily manufacturing operations to achieve production targets and meet delivery schedules efficiently
• Coordinate operations across procurement, warehousing, maintenance, engineering, and sales departments to ensure seamless workflow
• Monitor machine performance and schedule preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and maintain operational efficiency
• Implement continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, or Kaizen to enhance productivity and minimize material waste
• Oversee quality assurance protocols and promptly troubleshoot production issues to maintain product standards
• Ensure accurate documentation, production logging, and compliance with statutory manufacturing guidelines and quality management systems (e.g., ISO, GMP, HACCP)
• Develop and manage operational budgets, monitor expenditures, and control material and labor costs to optimize resource use
• Track inventory control metrics, supply usage, and supply chain logistics to maintain efficient stock levels
• Prepare and present Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports and production updates to senior management for informed decision-making
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate production supervisors, engineers, and plant floor teams to cultivate a high-performance culture
• Enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations by conducting regular safety audits and promoting zero-accident initiatives

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of progressive operational management experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Certified or hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen principles
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel) and enterprise resource planning systems (ERP / MRP software)
• Deep understanding of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) frameworks and quality compliance standards
• Strong foundation in production scheduling, resource allocation, and factory workflow layout
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, data-driven decision-making abilities, and strong cross-functional communication skills
