Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee and enhance the operational efficiency of our restaurant locations. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving performance, elevating customer experience, and ensuring the successful execution of operational strategies aligned with our brand's mission and values.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily restaurant operations to ensure high standards of food quality, customer service, and cleanliness
- Develop and implement operational strategies that drive sales, profitability, and guest satisfaction
- Monitor financial performance, including sales, labor costs, and inventory management to optimize operational efficiency
- Recruit, train, and mentor restaurant staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with marketing and culinary teams to execute promotions and menu changes effectively
- Utilize data analytics to identify trends, solve problems, and drive operational improvements
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in restaurant management or operations, with a proven track record of success
- 5+ Years of managing multiple fine dining restaurants especially Indian concepts
- Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and cost control
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric mindset
Preferred:
- Experience with multi-unit restaurant operations
- Knowledge of point-of-sale systems and restaurant management software
- Food safety certification and knowledge of health and sanitation regulations
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel for financial analysis
- Experience with inventory management systems and scheduling software
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) tools
