• Manage day-to-day operations of Ocean, Air, and Road Freight.
• Plan shipments including Air, LCL, FCL, and Breakbulk.
• Coordinate with internal departments for customer shipments.
• Handle import and export shipments and documentation.
• Ensure timely response to all inquiries.
• Obtain pricing and generate competitive quotations.
• Follow up with customers and overseas agents on proposals.
• Monitor billing and ensure timely invoicing.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strong operational knowledge within Freight Forwarding covering Air, Ocean and Crosstrade.

• This role supports day to day Ocean, Air and Road Freight operations.

• Shipment planning consists of Air, LCL, FCL, Breakbulk etc.

• Haulage arrangements.

• Customs clearance declaration.

• Work closely with internal departments to coordinate customer’s shipments.

• Handling Import and Export shipments & documentation from A to Z.

• Build and maintain good rapport with customers to fulfill their requirements.

• Troubleshooting and attending to customer complaints/disputes.

• Troubleshooting and attending to ministry/official authority.

• Ensure all enquirers are responded to within the shortest possible time frame.

• To obtain pricing and generate complete/competitive quotation base on customer’s requirements.

• Follow up with customer, overseas agents and overseas offices on the quotation/proposal and negotiate to a closure.

• Collaborate with Sales and Commercial on maintenance of customers.

• Monitor billing and ensure timely invoicing.

• Involvement in ad-hoc duties and assignments may be required from time to time.
