Job summary

FOREST ADVENTURE PTE. LTD. is seeking guides to ensure guests have an outstanding experience at Rainforest Wild Adventure. You will lead patrons through outdoor courses, uphold safety standards, and spark enthusiasm with a positive presence.

Training will be provided; weekend and public holiday shifts are required. The role involves guiding groups, conducting briefings, and maintaining course safety to deliver a Tremendous time for all guests.

Qualifications

• Passionate about outdoors and ready to work at height
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• Great listener, communicator and team player
• No experience needed; training provided
• Willing to stand long hours and work weekends/PHs

Responsibilities

• Open/close safety checks for the course and equipment
• Maintain the course and ensure safety for operations
• Conduct safety briefings for participants
• Operate in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures for customers
• Host and facilitate corporate group programmes
• Ensure patrons are comfortable while navigating obstacles

RAINFOREST WILD ADVENTURE

As a guide, your main role is to ensure all patrons leave the site happy and have a "tremendous" time.

As such the quality of our services is just as important as the quality of our infrastructure.

We therefore expect instructors to:

• Be happy and bring positive vibe into his/her working environment
• Articulate with good interpersonal skills and pro-actively engage with customers in small talk
• Confident in handling all customer profiles, even the most difficult
• Fit and interested in outdoor activity to inspire customers' confidence

The team of guides are also expected to follow the Forest Adventure Safety Management System (SMS) at all times which includes:

• Opening and closing safety checks of the course and its equipment
• Maintain the course and ensure that is safe for operations
• Conduct safety briefing
• Standard Operating Procedure in managing customers on the course
• Ensure patrons are comfortable while maneuvering through the obstacles
• Will require to host and facilitate corporate group programmes

Job Requirements

• Passionate about outdoors and work @ height
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic First Aid is a plus
• Great listener, communicator and team player
• Must be able to stand long hours
• No experience needed. Training will be provided
• Working hours 8.30am - 6.00pm including weekends and PHs (5 days' work week)
