Responsibilities include maintaining inventory, stocking equipment and supplies, upholding sanitary standards, and enhancing the shop's reputation by meeting diverse requests and adding value to guest

Responsibilities

• Promotes coffee consumption by educating customers and selling coffee-related equipment, accessories, and supplies, and pastries.
• Prepares and serves a variety of coffee drinks (espresso, latte, cappuccino) following prescribed recipes.
• Educates customers by presenting the coffee menu and answering questions.
• Generates revenues by attracting new customers and expanding services and products.
• Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee beans, stocking brewing equipment, and keeping pastries stocked.
• Maintains a safe and clean workspace by following sanitation standards.
• Enhances shop reputation by taking ownership of requests and adding value to services.

Job description

Barista Job Responsibilities:

• Promotes coffee consumption by educating customers; selling coffee and coffee grinding and brewing equipment, accessories, and supplies; preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks, along with pastries and cookies.
• Educates customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu; answering questions.
• Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as, espresso, espresso, latte, and cappuccino.
• Generates revenues by attracting new customers; defining new and expanded services and products.
• Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies for coffee bar.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.
• Enhances coffee shop reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
