Job summary

Clifford Capital is seeking a candidate to assist in Operational Risk management. You will support the ORMC with materials, review incidents, and help with vendor assessments and BCP drills. The role involves collaborating with Business Lines to map processes and document learnings for risk reduction.

The position emphasizes analytics, attention to detail, and strong writing and communication skills, with a hands-on approach to improving workflows within a risk framework.

Qualifications

• Completed or pursuing a university degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Risk Management or related subject.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Excellent research, writing and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail when handling documents.
• Team player with ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing Operational Risk across the firm.
• Prepare materials for presentation to the Operational Risk Management Committee.
• Review reported operational risk incidents and identify root causes and lessons learned.
• Review outsourcing assessments for onboarding new vendors and periodic reviews for existing vendors.
• Assist in annual Business Continuity Plan (BCP) testing in line with MAS BCM guidelines.
• Support the Risk and Control Self Assessment (RCSA) workshop and document learnings and action items.
• Contribute to development of a Material Risk Inventory to signal rising risk exposure.
