Job summary

OCBC invites applications for an Group Operational Risk Management Intern to assist in risk reviews, RCSA uplift, and governance across the bank. You will work with risk professionals and business stakeholders to analyse operational risks, incidents, and controls, while developing analytical thinking and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Curious, analytical, and detail-oriented.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to gather and interpret data.
• Good written and verbal communication; able to communicate insights clearly.

Responsibilities

• Risk & Control Reviews: review and challenge Risk & Control Registers across units with data gathering and stakeholder discussions.
• RCSA Support: uplift and operationalise the Risk & Control Self-Assessment programme.
• Operational Risk Analysis: analyse events, KRIs, and control weaknesses to identify themes and improvements.
• Data Quality & Governance: support validation and data management within risk systems.
• Process & Control Assessment: contribute to control assessments and root-cause analysis.
• Risk Reporting & Insights: assist in creating reports and dashboards for governance.
• Stakeholder Engagement: collaborate with units and risk teams for effective risk discussions.
• Ad-hoc Projects: support risk management, governance, and transformation initiatives.
