Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced nurse to support surgeons in the operating theatre, perform scrub nurse duties and assist with anaesthetic unit tasks in line with clinical guidelines.

You will coordinate with departments for safe patient transfers, escort and orientate patients, provide post-operative recovery care, and help review and improve nursing policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing support to surgeons during operative procedures and maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Carry out Scrub Nurse and Anaesthetic Unit Nurse duties according to the requirements of each procedure and established clinical guidelines.
• Coordinate with other departments to arrange safe patient transfers and transport.
• Escort and orientate patients before, during and after transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Provide post-operative recovery care and monitor patients in accordance with the relevant care protocols.
• Participate in the review, development and improvement of nursing policies, protocols and procedures.
• Undertake other nursing and operational duties as assigned by management.
