Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an on-site Project Leader to plan, execute and complete assigned BMS projects in Singapore. You will define scope, budget and schedule, coordinate subcontractors, and communicate with customers throughout all phases of the project.

The role requires a degree with at least 3 years of BMS experience, strong Excel/Word skills, and the ability to work odd hours to meet timelines. A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree with minimum 3 year relevant working experience in BMS projects.
• Excel, Word and Project management are essential.
• Must interact with clients, consultants and sub-contractors.
• Be able to work odd hours when required to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Define scope, budget and schedule for projects.
• Device project implementation methodology.
• Plan and oversee work schedule for multiple projects in coordination with supervisor.
• Identify potential project risks and recommend resolutions.
• Establish effective communication with customers.
• Track progress and project health for supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with codes, QA/QC policies and specs.
• Perform quality audits for suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Identify and secure variation orders.
• Cost control and delivery of financial commitments per KPI.
• Manage reports and documents.
• Work with Sales on tender bidding.
• Supervise subcontractors' work on site.
• Schedule purchases and deliveries of materials.
• Work with drawings and submissions as required.
• Assign tasks to and supervise junior engineers/technicians.
• Handle system applications, drafting, database generation and commissioning.
• Follow-up on payments from customers and verify payments to suppliers.
• Train customers and schedule first-year maintenance.
• Hand over project to customer and service team.
