Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an on-site Project Engineer to lead BMS projects from initiation through completion. You will coordinate with customers, consultants and subcontractors, manage scope, budget and schedule, and ensure compliance with QA/QC standards.

The role requires 3+ years in BMS projects, strong Excel/Word skills, and the ability to work odd hours as needed. You will supervise junior staff, work with sales for tender bids, and ensure timely delivery of materials and documentation

Qualifications

• Degree with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in BMS projects.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and project management tools.
• Experience interacting with clients, consultants and sub-contractors.

Responsibilities

• Act as on-site project leader to plan, execute and complete assigned projects.
• Coordinate communication with customers during all phases and with subcontractors.
• Define scope, budget and schedule for projects; manage risks and variations.
• Ensure compliance with codes, QA/QC policies and project specifications.
• Monitor progress, costs and reports; manage documentation and hand over to service team.
