Job summary

POWERCHINA (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. seeks a Mechanical Site Coordinator to supervise installation works onsite in line with Singapore standards. You will interpret drawings, liaise with owners and subcontractors, and ensure permits and project activities are coordinated for seamless execution.

The role requires a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years of construction experience, and strong English communication with a proactive safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• At least 5 years' mechanical working experience in construction.
• Experience with gas turbine power plant projects preferred.
• Proficient with English; strong safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise mechanical installation works onsite to deliver timely and quality project completion.
• Ensure mechanical installation activities comply with Singapore technical standards and acceptance processes to meet regulatory requirements.
• Interpret mechanical installation drawings to guide site construction accurately and prevent errors.
• Liaise with owners, subcontractors, and internal departments to obtain necessary permits and coordinate project activities for seamless execution.
• Manage subcontractors by monitoring work progress and ensuring alignment with project requirements and quality standards.
• Follow Mechanical Department management and project instructions to maintain operational consistency and project alignment.
