Itron Engineering Pte. Ltd. is seeking an onsite support technician for laboratory equipment relocation projects. The role entails disassembly/reassembly, readiness checks, and ensuring safe transportation of instruments.

You will guide relocation coordinators and vendors on proper handling, perform post-relocation checks, and escalate complex faults to authorised personnel. Independent work and safety compliance are essential.

Formación

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering or related discipline.
• This is a 10-month contract.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in equipment servicing, instrument maintenance, technical support or laboratory equipment installation preferred.
• Familiarity with laboratory instruments, analytical equipment or scientific equipment handling is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of equipment disassembly, reassembly and technical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read technical documentation and follow equipment handling procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and onsite coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and collaborate with relocation teams and equipment specialists.

Responsabilidades

• Provide onsite technical support for laboratory equipment and instrument relocation activities.
• Assist with basic instrument disassembly, reassembly and preparation for safe transportation.
• Perform equipment readiness checks before relocation, including visual inspection, equipment condition assessment and verification of required accessories.
• Support instrument preparation activities, including securing removable components and identifying equipment handling requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to relocation coordinators and logistics vendors on proper equipment handling, movement and installation requirements.
• Assist with equipment positioning, reassembly and basic post-relocation readiness checks.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues encountered during equipment relocation.
• Escalate complex equipment faults or specialist servicing requirements to authorised technical personnel.
• Maintain technical checklists, equipment condition records and relocation activity documentation.
• Ensure technical activities comply with applicable safety procedures and manufacturer requirements.
