Job summary

YIJIA ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a proactive Safety Officer / WSH Officer to support cleanroom and semiconductor construction projects in Singapore. This hands-on role requires regular site inspections, risk assessment, and close collaboration with project managers, site supervisors, and client safety teams.

The ideal candidate will manage safety documentation, lead toolbox talks, and drive a strong safety culture on site, including night work or overtime when required.

Qualifications

• MOM-registered WSH Officer with relevant construction safety experience.
• Minimum 3 years in construction/M&E/semiconductor environments.
• Experience with high‑risk activities and on-site safety documentation.
• Proficient in English and Chinese for coordination.
• Able to work on site and coordinate with clients and main contractors.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily site safety inspections and ensure WSH compliance.
• Manage risk assessments, SWP, method statements, and permits to work.
• Attend client and contractor safety meetings and site walks.
• Lead toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Maintain safety records and training certificates.
• Coordinate with project team on safety matters.
• Support incident reporting and corrective actions.
• Represent the company in safety discussions with clients.
