Job summary

EA Recruitment seeks a Construction Engineer for an on-site, full-time role in Tuas. You will support contractors/consultants, coordinate multi-discipline input, and ensure design alignment with cost targets and client requirements.

The position requires a degree in mechanical/electrical/civil engineering and relevant EPC experience. Expect site supervision, safety oversight, and regular progress reporting as part of a dynamic project team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering or equivalent engineering qualification.
• Experience in oil & gas EPC projects preferred.
• Past experience with contractor partners as main contractor is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Manager on contractors/consultants sourcing, inquiry package issuing, scope clarification and evaluation & selection.
• Coordinate with OPS, ENG, PSM, EHS and contractors to ensure design meets cost targets and client requirements.
• Handle drawings, MSRA, SWP and ensure proper project documentation management.
• Plan ahead with contractors/consultants, clients and PMC to schedule critical work paths and avoid delays on mechanical completion.
• Oversee site daily activities, supervise progress, manage site labour and subcontractors.
• Oversee quality control and health and safety on site.
• Monitor construction cost including progress billing, expenses and variations.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly progress reports to management.
• Coordinate weekly/monthly progress meetings.
• Ensure execution adheres to tender drawings and client requirements.
• Coordinate project handover per SOP.
