Job summary

QUESS SELECTION & SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced field service engineer to perform installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of gas detection and instrumentation equipment at customer sites.

You will conduct routine testing, calibration, troubleshoot faults, and provide on-site testing to ensure proper operation. Travel to customer sites, prepare reports, and coordinate with internal teams while upholding safety procedures.

Qualifications

Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
Min 3 years of experience in instrumentation, field service or maintenance.
Hands-on experience with instrumentation and testing equipment.
Experience in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, process or industrial environments preferred.
Marine or offshore experience is an advantage.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Willing to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

Perform installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of gas detection and instrumentation equipment.
Conduct routine inspection, testing and calibration of equipment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment faults and carry out repairs.
Attend to customer breakdowns and service requests.
Carry out on-site testing to ensure equipment is operating properly.
Prepare service reports and document work completed.
Liaise with customers on technical issues, service schedules and equipment status.
Coordinate with internal teams on spare parts and service arrangements.
Provide technical support to junior technicians when required.
Follow company safety procedures and workplace safety requirements.
