Job summary

JCVL PTE. LTD. is seeking an on-site project professional to assist the Principal Project Manager and Senior Project Manager in daily contract management. You will actively oversee quality and safety, identify non-conformances, and coordinate with the Contractor for timely rectifications on site.

Responsibilities include supervising instrumentation installation, leading supervisory teams, and supporting PMCC operations. A civil/structural engineering background with field experience is required.

Qualifications

Min degree in Civil & Structural engineering.
Min 2 years of viaduct and/or flyover or cut and cover tunnel experience in a project/construction environment.
Proficient in relevant software programmes for planning and project work.
Pro-active team player with good analytical and communication skills.
Experience in civil/structural/geotechnical design will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

Assist Principal Project Manager (PRPM)/Senior Project Manager (SPM)/Project Manager (PM) in day-to-day management of the contract.
Advise on-site quality and safety issues.
Determine any non-conformances on works.
Liaise with the Contractor to rectify non-conformances and document them properly.
Ensure decisions on-site issues are conveyed to the Contractor within a reasonable timeframe.
Ensure works are carried out according to specifications, drawings and programme without compromising quality and safety.
Provide feedback to PRPM/SPM/PM on quality and safety matters and suggest improvements.
Supervise the installation of instrumentation and monitoring of instrumentation.
Lead a team of supervisors to ensure full-time supervision of works on site.
Assist in the operation of the PMCC.
