Job summary

APPLIED KING SCIENTIFIC PTE. LTD. is seeking a field service technician to install and service large-scale automated freezers, air compressors, and dryers at customer sites.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and train customers on product features while ensuring high uptime and reliability. The role requires independent work, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to manage schedules and safety during on-site visits.

Qualifications

• Interpreting mechanical, electronic, sensors, motors, power configurations to diagnose issues.
• Reading schematics and drawings to guide installation/repair.
• Communicating technical info clearly to customers and providing training.
• Managing workload with limited supervision while collaborating within a team.
• Maintaining high attention to detail and quality under pressure.
• Managing and meeting schedule commitments for timely service.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and install large-scale automated freezers, air compressors, and dryers to ensure operational efficiency.
• Identify, analyze, and repair product failures, ordering and replacing parts as needed to minimize downtime.
• Perform start-up testing and deliver customer training on product features and maintenance.
• Apply knowledge of products and services to support technical tasks and customer interactions.
• Provide on-site installation, repairs, and conduct quality checks to maintain product reliability.
• Complete clear and accurate documentation to support service records and compliance.
