Job summary

Oceanlink Services Pte. Ltd. is seeking a committed maritime professional to join our ship management team in Singapore. The role focuses on ensuring safe vessel operations, leading inspections for compliance with ISM, ISPS, MARPOL, and SIRE standards, and coordinating inspections with oil majors.

You will participate in incident investigations, onboard superintendent inspections and crew training, while handling additional tasks as assigned by the company.

Qualifications

• Sailing experience as Master or Chief Officer on Oil Tankers.
• Familiar with ISM codes, ISPS, MARPOL and other maritime regulations.
• Familiar with SIRE Inspection.
• Strong communication, analytical and team player skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operations of vessels.
• Conduct regular ship inspections to ensure compliance to local/international statutory requirements, safety procedures and environmental protection requirements.
• Monitor, coordinate and attend to vessels for oil major/class inspections related matters.
• Incident / Accident Investigation and Reporting.
• Able to carry out Superintendent Inspection and Audit on board vessel.
• Conduct crew training/familiarization.
• Any other tasks assigned by the Company from time to time.
