Job summary

OCEANLINK SERVICES PTE. LTD. seeks a seasoned Master/Chief Officer with oil tanker experience to join its ship management team, overseeing safe vessel operations and on-board inspections in Singapore. The role requires compliance with international regulations and timely response to inspections and audits.

Applicants must hold a Class 3–5 COC and demonstrate strong communication, analytical skills, and teamwork to coordinate with crews and clients. This is an on-site Singapore position.

Qualifications

• Experience as Master or Chief Officer on oil tankers
• Valid Class 3 to Class 5 COC
• Familiar with ISM, ISPS, MARPOL and other maritime regs
• Good communication, analytical and team player

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operations of vessels
• Conduct regular ship inspections to ensure compliance to local/international statutory requirements, safety procedures and environmental protection requirements
• Monitor, coordinate and attend to vessels for oil major/class inspections related matters
• Incident / Accident Investigation and Reporting
• Able to carry out Superintendent Inspection and Audit on board vessel
• Conduct crew training/familiarization
• Any other tasks assigned by the Company from time to time
