Job summary

Trafigura Singapore seeks an experienced commercial operations professional to manage end-to-end oil trade execution, coordinate logistics, and support post-deal activities. The role involves coordinating with traders, chartering, agents and counterparties to ensure smooth cargo execution and timely trade completion.

The position requires 3–5 years in oil trading operations, cargo execution and strong planning, cost optimization, and risk awareness. Blending experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of operational experience in oil trading
• Experience in fuel or gas oil cargo execution

• Ability to optimize operational plans, manage costs and handle multiple cargoes in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end operational execution of oil trades from recap to completion, including STS transfers, storage movements and blending activities.
• Coordinate closely with traders, chartering, agents, surveyors and counterparties to ensure smooth cargo execution, while optimising operational plans, managing costs and identifying operational risks early to ensure efficient and timely trade completion.

Job description

Main Purpose

Commercial physical fuel/gas oil logistics operations and trader support. Possibly supporting other Product desks in the future. Co-ordinates all aspects of the post-deal trading activity to ensure contract execution runs smoothly. Provide commercial/market information to the trader as necessary. Co-ordinate shipping/logistics in order to effect the trade successfully. Assists in the research of new business opportunities.
