Job summary

BW Offshore Ltd is seeking an Offshore Technical Assurance Specialist (Production Operations) to join the Operational Governance team. The role spans offshore exposure, engagement with senior leadership, and shaping a modern, risk-based assurance function focused on operational excellence, learning and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in Process, Production, Operations, Marine Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in offshore oil and gas or high-hazard industry with production ops.
• Experience in assurance, auditing, operational readiness or performance improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Production Operations assurance activities across BW Offshore's global fleet under the Technical Assurance Program
• Conduct offshore assurance visits and verify Work as Imagined against Work as Performed
• Provide independent insight on production operations, operational discipline and critical controls
• Identify weak signals and opportunities to improve production performance and reliability
• Influence leaders and frontline teams through coaching and constructive engagement
• Drive closure of assurance findings and support risk escalation when required
• Shape the future of assurance through continuous improvement and innovative approaches
