The role requires strong supplier liaison skills and experience with ERP systems. You will solicit proposals, negotiate terms, maintain purchase orders, and support supplier audits while communicating in English and Mandarin with Chinese stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, SCM or Business from a recognized university.
• Experience with offshore drilling equipment.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin for stakeholder communication.
• Experience with ERP systems (AMOS or SAP).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage and maintain procurement of capital and expense goods and services.
• Solicit competitive proposals from qualified suppliers.
• Determine the lowest total cost solution.
• Develop, maintain and manage purchase orders.
• Coordinate purchase process, negotiation and release of purchase orders.
• Support supplier audit processes.
• Act as the point of contact for procurement between rig and vendors.
• Communicate updates to assist operations, cost control and scheduling.
• Negotiate purchasing agreements.
• Coordinate export documentation with packer and freight forwarder.
• Expedite all open or past-due purchase orders.
• Manage the logistical process for goods to export and transport carriers.
