Job summary

Brunel International S.E.A. Pte. Ltd is seeking an experienced Construction Quality Dimensional Control Inspector to support FPSO and offshore oil & gas projects.

The role ensures dimensional accuracy of fabricated components, structures and piping, throughout the construction lifecycle. The specialist will perform dimensional inspections, monitor alignment, document NCRs, and maintain inspection records to uphold project specifications and international standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Certification in dimensional control or measurement technologies is desirable.
• FPSO/offshore experience is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience in dimensional control inspection on large-scale projects.
• Proficient with laser trackers, total stations, 3D scanners and precision measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct dimensional control inspections on fabricated components, sub-assemblies, and structures to ensure compliance with drawings and project requirements.
• Verify alignment and fit-up of modules, equipment, piping systems, and structural components during fabrication and installation.
• Record and maintain dimensional inspection reports, measurement records, and NCRs.
• Identify dimensional deviations and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Construction, and Quality teams to meet tolerances.
• Monitor and verify rework arising from dimensional discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with international standards including ASME, API, ISO, and project requirements.
• Provide regular inspection status updates to Quality Lead and Construction Quality Manager.
• Support quality assurance initiatives to maintain accuracy, safety and workmanship.
