Job summary

Brunel International S.E.A. Pte. Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Construction Quality Dimensional Control Inspector to join a major FPSO construction project.

This role focuses on ensuring dimensional accuracy and alignment of fabricated components throughout the construction lifecycle, using laser trackers, total stations, and 3D scanning. Collaboration with Engineering, Construction, and Quality teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Certification in dimensional control and measurement techniques is highly desirable.
• Experience on FPSO or offshore oil & gas projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive inspections to verify dimensional accuracy of components and assemblies for FPSO.
• Maintain records of inspections, NCRs, and measurement data; communicate deviations promptly.
• Collaborate with engineering/design teams to ensure fabrication aligns with specs and tolerances.
• Identify dimensional deviations, document details, and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee alignment verification of installed equipment during assembly and installation stages.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, API, ISO and project specifications.
• Support QA processes and monitor corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Provide regular updates on inspection status to quality leads and project teams.
