Job summary

BW Offshore Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Offshore Technical Assurance Specialist (Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecommunications) to join the Operational Governance team. The role provides independent insight into safety-critical systems across the global fleet, with offshore deployment and interaction with senior leadership.

The successful candidate will bring at least 10 years in offshore oil and gas, with strong EIT experience, and will drive risk-based assurance, continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Degree, recognised qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation, Control Systems, Automation, Telecommunications or related engineering
• Minimum 10 years' offshore oil and gas or high-hazard industry experience with significant EIT exposure
• Experience in assurance, verification, auditing, reliability improvement or asset integrity management

Responsibilities

• Deliver EIT assurance activities across BW Offshore's global fleet
• Conduct offshore assurance visits and verify Work as Imagined vs Performed
• Provide independent insights on electrical, instrumentation, control and telecommunications systems
• Verify workforce competence assessment processes and promote consistent assurance standards
• Identify weaknesses, emerging risks and opportunities to improve system reliability
• Influence leaders and frontline teams through coaching and engagement
• Drive closure of assurance findings and support risk escalation
• Shape the future of assurance through continuous improvement
