Job summary

PAP Community Foundation is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to plan and run therapy services at the Senior Care Centre. You will assess clients on admission and during reviews, develop and implement therapy plans, and participate in multidisciplinary discussions to support holistic care.

You will document records and engage with families with empathy and professionalism. The role requires at least a bachelor or diploma in Occupational Therapy, AHPC registration, and a minimum of 3

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
• Fully registered with AHPC (Allied Health Professions Council).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a hospital or eldercare setting; community experience preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate disposition to interact with frail seniors.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run occupational therapy services in the Senior Care Centre.
• Conduct assessments for SCC clients during admission and reviews.
• Institute appropriate and effective client therapy treatment.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care discussions.
• Contribute to formulation and follow-up of clients' ICP for holistic care.
• Plan and conduct group therapy programs for day care clients.
• Review and revise therapy program schedules to improve quality.
• Maintain documentation of therapy records.
• Assist clients with dementia-related behavioural issues.
• Foster close, warm relationships with families and caregivers.
• Take charge of other duties as assigned by Centre Manager.
