Job summary

NTUC Health seeks an Occupational Therapist to promote independence and improve daily living activities for seniors. You will assess clients’ physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs, design customized intervention plans, and enable meaningful participation in everyday life.

You will collaborate with caregivers and the care team, conduct caregiver training, and ensure adherence to clinical protocols while supporting mobility and function across various locations.

Qualifications

• Assess and evaluate the client's physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and occupational needs to design appropriate intervention plans.
• Support clients to participate meaningfully in their environment and daily activities.
• Prescribe appropriate aids or assistive devices as needed.
• Conduct home assessments and modifications to improve safety and independence.
• Participate in quality improvement, research, and collaborative projects.
• Conduct training for therapists, support staff, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

As an Occupational therapist, you enhance the quality of life for seniors by helping them maintain or regain independence in their daily activities and enabling them to live a purposeful life. You will need to
