Job summary

Our client, a Singapore-based healthcare institution, seeks an Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team and deliver comprehensive therapy.

Responsibilities include assessments, goal setting with patients and caregivers, and therapy across geriatrics, neurology, orthopedics, and palliative care. Training and development support are provided, with a salary range of SGD 4,500–6,500 per month commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy recognized by AHPC.
• AHPC registration eligible or registered in Singapore.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience preferred (new graduates may be considered).
• Effective client communication and caregiver engagement skills.

Job description

Our client is a Singapore-based healthcare institution providing rehabilitative and therapeutic care, looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical

• Conduct client assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Set appropriate therapy goals in collaboration with patients and caregivers
• Carry out occupational therapy treatment for patients across relevant care settings (e.g., geriatrics, neurology, orthopedics, palliative care)
• Conduct caregiver training and education on techniques to support patient independence and safety
• Carry out discharge planning in coordination with the multidisciplinary care team

Clinical Administration

• Manage risk and quality within scope of practice
• Carry out clinical audits and review clinical guidelines
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and therapy documentation

Training & Development

• Conduct training for department colleagues and support in-service education programs
• Assist in quality improvement projects and service development initiatives
• Support development and maintenance of individual staff training plans

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy, recognized by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)
• AHPC registerable in Singapore (registered or eligible for registration)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience preferred (new graduates may also be considered depending on client needs)
• Effective client communication and caregiver engagement skills
• Good clinical decision-making and problem-solving ability
• Strong team player, able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare setting
