Job summary

Adventist Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre Singapore is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver individualized therapy to elderly patients, assess rehabilitation needs, and design activities to restore function.

You will monitor progress, document outcomes, prescribe assistive devices as needed, and supervise support staff to ensure high-quality care in a geriatric setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
• Minimum one year of relevant occupational therapy experience.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate clients’ rehabilitation needs to develop and implement personalized occupational therapy activities that restore or maintain functional abilities.
• Monitor and review clients’ intervention plans regularly to ensure effectiveness and document progress accurately.
• Evaluate and prescribe assistive devices to improve clients’ functional skills and activities of daily living.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all treatments and update client records consistently.
• Supervise and train support staff and volunteers to ensure quality care delivery.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
