Job summary

Soitec in Singapore seeks a hands-on NPW coordinator to ensure on-time delivery and smooth wafer production. You will monitor NPW lots, manage NPW WIP, and work with shifts to keep costs down and inventory aligned with plan.

The role requires basic cleanroom knowledge, good communication, and 2+ years of semiconductor fab experience, including day/night shift readiness. English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• NITEC or O/A levels with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Basic computer skills, basic knowledge of cleanroom environment / protocol.
• Good communication skills, good team player.
• Able to communicate and converse in English.
• Able to work on day/night 12 hour shift in cleanroom with gowning of jumpsuit.
• Semiconductor Fab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• On-Time Delivery: Monitor and expedite NPW lots to support daily production plan outputs for customer demand.
• Overall NPW WIP management: Control NPW WIP and plan starts and recycling to achieve NPW cost, tool time and inventory targets; coordinate with shift team for housekeeping.
• Report, analyse, and troubleshoot: Daily reporting and monitoring (cost, moves, inventory) using spreadsheets and slides; basic data analysis with Google Sheets, JMP or Power BI; troubleshoot wafer issues.
• Improvement: Initiate, plan, execute, analyse and present improvement projects to reduce NPW cost, inventory, flow time or tool time.
• Production Equipment: Operate production equipment in assigned areas to support manufacturing high quality SOI and Refresh products.
• Quality and Quantity of Output: Execute operations per SOP and perform NC prevention to avoid non-conformance and wafer scrap.

Introduce Soitec and context of the position

This position reports to the Manager ot Manufacturing Excellence as an integral part of this fast-paced team. This role will play a critical role in NPW (Non Productive Wafer management) and performing the daily task to ensure the availability of meterial to ensure the smooth operational execution without quality impact and disuption of production.

What does the job consist?

• On-Time Delivery: Monitor and expedite all NPW lots to support production in meeting the daily plan outputs for customer (plant end users) demand.
• Overall NPW WIP management : Control NPW WIP and plan for starts and recycling to achieve NPW cost, tool time, and inventory targets. Work with shift Manufacturing team to ensure good housekeeping of NPW WIP.
• Report, analyse, and troubleshoot: Daily reporting and monitoring (e.g. of cost, moves, inventory) using spreadsheet and relevant presentation slides. Perform basic data analysis using Google Sheets, JMP or Pwer BI. Perform basic troubleshooting of potential wafer issues.
• Improvement: Initiate, plan, execute, analyse, and present improvement projects in the areas of NPW cost, inventory, flow efficiency, tool time, or others to improve overall standard of work
• Production Equipment: Operate production equipment in assigned areas to support the manufacture of high quality SOI and Refresh products.
• Quality and Quantity of Output: Execute operations according to SOP and actively do NC prevention to ensure no non-conformance and wafer scrap.

Requirements & qualifications

• NITEC or ‘O’ / ‘A’ levels with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Basic computer skills, basic knowledge of cleanroom environment / protocol.
• Good communication skills, good team player.
• Able to communicate and conversed in English.
• Able to work on day/night 12 hour shift as required in cleanroom environment with the gowning of jumpsuit.
• Semiconductor Fab experience preferred.
