Job summary

Soitec in Singapore is seeking hands-on operators to support the manufacturing line for high-quality SOI and Refresh products. You will be responsible for production equipment, quality output, on-time delivery, and housekeeping within strict safety and corporate guidelines.

Requirements include NITEC or O/ A levels with at least 2 years of experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to work 12-hour day/night shifts.

Qualifications

• NITEC or O/A levels with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of cleanroom environment.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Able to work 12-hour day/night shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment in assigned area and perform basic maintenance in one tool group to ensure high-quality SOI and Refresh products.
• Execute operations according to SOP and perform NC prevention to avoid non-conformance and wafer scrap.
• Monitor and expedite all production lots, manage WIP, and plan output to meet MMP requirements and daily demand.
• Monitor basic tool process stability and follow qualification sequences to keep production on line after maintenance or interventions.
• Participate in improvement activities and trainings to raise overall standards.

What does the job consist?

Purpose

Responsible for production equipment, quality of output, on-time delivery, improvement, quality, safety and housekeeping in the manufacturing line to manufacture high quality SOI and Refresh products for Customers with the objective of ensuring smooth business operations within department guidelines and corporate policies.

  • Monitor and expedite all production lots, WIP control in the production line, plan for output according to MMP requirements to achieve minimum cycle time and meet the daily plan outputs to meet customers’ demand.

  • Monitor basic tool process stability in 1 process group, able to follow a sequence of qualifications to put tool back into production after maintenance / sustaining intervention to sustain and improve on the overall quality of wafers produced.
