Lumilens, a startup building photonics infrastructure for AI and HPC, seeks a detail-oriented Material Planner to execute day-to-day planning and procurement for prototype to production builds. You will run MRP, place and track purchase orders, and flag shortages to keep schedules on track.
This execution-focused role sits alongside the Planning Manager, with heavy collaboration across sourcing, engineering, and logistics to maintain data accuracy, monitor deliveries, and support cycle counting
At Lumilens we are building the critical photonics infrastructure that powers tomorrow’s AI supercomputing. From chip-to-chip optical interconnects to scalable photonic engines, Lumilens is unlocking a new era of computing - faster, cooler, and massively more efficient.
We’re a well-funded startup backed by Mayfield and led by veterans who’ve built and scaled some of the most transformative technologies in the industry. At Lumilens, we’re developing high-speed photonics products purpose-built to power the future of AI infrastructure and high-performance computing.
This isn’t incremental innovation, it’s a ground-floor opportunity to rethink the optical layer from the silicon up. You’ll work alongside a team of world-class engineers solving some of the hardest challenges in scaling optical systems. If you're looking for mission, momentum, and the chance to make an outsized impact, jump on the rocket ship. We’re just getting started.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Material Planner to execute day-to-day material planning and procurement activities that keep prototype, pilot, and production builds on schedule. This role owns the tactical, hands-on work of running MRP, placing and tracking purchase orders, monitoring supplier deliveries, and flagging shortages — turning the material plans set by the Planning Manager into concrete, on-time execution. This is an execution-focused role, distinct from the Planning Manager, who owns overall material strategy and cross-functional planning.
