Job summary

Applied Materials in Singapore seeks a motivated Dry Etch / Wet Etch Process Engineer to support setup and ramp of our next‑generation semiconductor manufacturing line. You will collaborate across engineering and operations to drive technology transfer from pathfinding to pilot production.

The role requires hands‑on process transfer discipline, readiness to travel (~30%) between Southeast Asia and the USA, and potential progression to Senior or Principal level with additional experience.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and industry standards, especially Dry Etch / Wet Etch.
• Willingness to travel between South East Asia and the USA (~30%).
• Disciplined in tracking and delivering scheduled milestones.
• Experience collaborating with R&D, production process, integration, operations and hardware teams.
• Senior/Principal level possible with more years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and train on existing R&D processes and transfer knowledge to pilot production line.
• Create a comprehensive checklist to ensure successful transfer of processes and material.
• Collaborate with R&D and production process, integration, operations and hardware teams to meet timelines for HVM operations.
• Track and manage schedules, deliverables, and risks for technology transfer and production milestones.
• Coordinate training with R&D transfer engineers.
• Support tools and process qualifications at HVM site.
