Job summary
AstraMed Healthcare is building a new ultrasound main unit and probe production line in Singapore. We seek a Production & Process Engineer with NPI and shop floor management experience to localize process docs, support trial runs, and establish production traceability systems.
The role requires hands-on execution, collaboration with HQ, and strong problem-solving in a lean startup environment, with bilingual English and Mandarin communication.
Qualifications
- Bilingual communication in English and Mandarin is essential.
- Experience with SOP drafting and line layout planning.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Hands-on, on-site problem solving in a startup setting.
Responsibilities
- Line Setup & On-site Execution: collaborate with HQ on production line layout, equipment installation, commissioning, and acceptance.
- Process Documentation & SOPs: translate HQ specs into local SOPs and process parameters, train operators.
- Trial Runs & Issue Closure: organize trials, identify anomalies, implement corrective actions, document results.
- Traceability & Quality: establish traceability linking batches, serials, operators, and inspections for compliance.
- Material & Equipment Coordination: coordinate with procurement/logistics/HQ on material arrivals and PM plans.
