Job summary

EnviroDynamics Solutions Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced professional to plan and maintain production networks and internet peering strategies. You will manage peering traffic, monitor networks, and coordinate with ISPs and TAC vendors to resolve issues.

You will participate in 24/7 global support rotations, prepare RCAs for outages, and deliver weekly performance updates. A diploma with relevant experience is required and collaboration across regional teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma holder with 2 years of relevant networking experience.
• Ability to build effective working relationships internally and externally.
• Solid understanding of network and peering traffic, with RCA capability.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain production networks and internet peering strategies.
• Manage networking tech for content delivery networks, traffic monitoring and peering capacity.
• Troubleshoot software and hardware across servers from multiple vendors.
• Coordinate with TAC vendors to resolve hardware-related problems.
• Respond to traffic concerns from ISPs and partners; handle 1st level escalations.
• Create and distribute technical MOP documents to leads.
• Support Layer 1 troubleshooting of network and traffic peering issues.
• Analyze data trends and provide reports as needed.
• Attend meetings and present weekly on network performance and escalations.
• Collaborate with ISPs and vendors to resolve network issues across regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in planning and maintaining production networks and internet peering strategies.
• Manage networking technologies related to content delivery networks, traffic monitoring, and peering capacity.
• Troubleshoot software and hardware issues across servers from multiple vendors.
• Coordinate with TAC vendors to resolve hardware-related problems.
• Respond to traffic-related concerns and inquiries from ISPs and partners.
• Handle first-level escalations raised by the team.
• Create and distribute technical and procedural Method of Procedure (MOP) documents to relevant team leads.
• Support troubleshooting of network and traffic peering issues Layer 1.
• Analyze data trends and provide reports as needed.
• Attend regular meetings and deliver weekly presentations on network performance and escalation handling.
• Collaborate with ISPs and vendors to resolve network issues.
• Work alongside regional and cross-regional team leads.
• Participate in 24/7 global support rotations, including potential weekend shifts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma with 2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to build effective working relationships internally and externally.
• Sound judgment in line with established processes and best practices.
• Solid understanding of network and peering traffic.
• Ability to prepare Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) for network or server outages.
• Strong communication skills to interact with service providers, colocation sites, and ISPs globally.
• Proficient in Layer 1 troubleshooting.
• Experience operating in multi-vendor network environments.
